Not sure whether you've seen the Supergirl Legion of Super Heroes animated movie yet? I got bored and didnt want to watch it but I did and...it was really good.

What a nice mix of books. I LOVE that Superboy Annual #1. Beautiful square bound goodness!

Hello My Good Friend. Very cool that they did a facsimile of Police Comics#1, unfortunately I missed out on alot of the great facsimiles, because I didn't know that they started doing them a few years ago, eventually I would like to start buying them & track down the ones that I missed. Very cool Secret Origins#20, 17. Very cool Dr. Solar#24, some of the best painted covers of the many titles. Very cool Blackhawk, those Blackhawks had some fantastic covers. Very cool Sandman Mystery Theatre, I like that cover. Very cool Captain Action#3, Captain Action had some cool covers. The spine looks pretty square on that Superboy giant#1. Sorry for the long comments.

😎👍 Police Comics facsimile Brother Shannon ., got mine back in the early 70s at a con also picked up a Captain Marvel Adventures and Plastic Man # 1 facsimile. Gold Key and me 🤗...🖐wait , that's a story for another show 😄. What I will say is that Gold Key is pure goodness! Silver Age , Bronze Age makes me act my age 🙄; the age I'm always gonna be when comic books I grew up with get shown. Brother Shannon you're making me turn into a 3 Stooges mad scientist , scattering things around so I can build a time machine and go back to the spinner racks and used book stores i was lured to as a kid and teenager so i can get back all those lost and misplaced items of interest I once had! 😕Thanks my brother , now I've got to get busy and clean up my room. Thanks my brother for a wonderful time.

I like to call it my LFBS - local funny book store 😁 Oh man, that Blackhawk cover pops 😍 I love John Severin art, thanks to Cracked Magazine. Heck yeah, me & ol' Amos Moses will gas up the truck and head up to the con, we didn't get too far the last time we headed up to Higgy's house, but the old War Wagon should make it this time. Nice haul Shannon! I wish my LCS had such a variety to offer. I'm on the lookout for that LoSH Official Index. I think they were 5 issues of that. Glad to see you jump into Sandman Mystery Theater, one of the best series of the 90's (with James Robinson's Starman and Jerry Ordway's Power of Shazam). The Blackhawk cover with the Eisneresque logo looked awesome! I'm putting it on my list.

Some nice pickups there Shannon! I’ve been circling around that Legion Index series for awhile as I found a couple of them at an antique store a few weeks past. Even with the internet, I still enjoy those DC and Marvel indexes from the late 70’s and 80’s. Have a great week my friend!

Yep, it is happening again. I buy a copy of #19 at my LCS this past week, then I watch this video again and decide I want to start collecting it. This really is all your fault Shannon...lol. My poor wallet.

Hi Shannon! First things first: I will light candles for the health of our afflicted community members this evening. Thanks for putting us in the loop. Secondly: wow! Such a cool selection of $1.00 bin comics! To me the highlight comics were the Gold Key issues. I remember watching Nikki Wild Dog of the North on the Magical World Disney as a 9 or 10 yr old. I didn't that Gold Key did a movie tie-in. Congratulations! As for the Brothers of the Spear comic, I've always had a soft spot for the adventures of Dan-El and Natongo. Great stories! Aba-Zulu and Tungelu FOREVER!

hey Shannon. Yes hopefully Rod, Erik Ks wife & ECR's dad is better, yes I've said it before you, Rod & the peanut gallery are like family to me as well, I love you guys. Very cool books especially that Avengers-Invaders, I always liked the Invaders. Speaking of Blackhawk, that Blackhawk serial his uniform was pretty spot on. Speaking of working hard at music gigs, have you ever seen old clips of the Beatles playing in the cavern club? they are drenched in sweat.

Know all too well My Brother about Loved ones and health issues. Our beloved community family members are in my prayers. My favorite book from your haul My Brother is " Nikki Wild Dog Of The North " ; Gold Key and Disney , along with Scamp (my #1 Disney character) , Gyro Gearloose (#2) , the animated / live action animal film adaptations were hard to resist back in spinner rack days and still continue to have my attention.

I liked Legends of the Dark Knight, just some short arc stories rather than long form stuff and those Dial H issues of New Adventures of Superboy are on my to get list after picking up the Adventure Comics run recently.

Hello My Good Friend. Very cool Chamber Of Chills & Weird Wonder Tales. Very cool British Spider-Man, Spider-Man vs Daredevil is a very cool duel, in some ways Spider-Man & Daredevil have similar abilities minus the blindness. Wow Apes Power Records nice right Shannon?😂, I could be wrong, I don't think I had any power records it's been so long, I might have had some, but I did have some popculture related albums growing up though. Yeah fantastic artwork by Higgy, I've seen some of his artwork, yeah he has talent, fantastic AOK from Higgy. Sorry for the long comments.

☝🤓Dial H for Higgy Pop culture! Apeparently Brother Shannon those records will be enshrined in their own jukebox. Those Marvel Atlas era reprints prove the case that was made in an article about the talent pool Atlas had. The article pointed out that although EC is justifiably revered for its artistic legends Atlas too had a roster of talent just as impressive ; Everett , Ditko , Heck, Mort Drucker , Bob Powell and many truly noteworthy names who contributed to Atlas content.

What an awesome AOK from Higgy. Like you, DC did a better job with the horror genre in the Bronze Age, but Marvel had some good one for sure. That artwork Higgy did is great. That is definitely a keeper.

I’ve really been enjoying going through your videos, you have an amazing collection! And it’s always cool when someone gifts you comics like that. I had a next door neighbor who once told me “I have some old comic books I want to give you” as she knew I was into comics, and it ended up being some old undergrounds, including a Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers #1! They weren’t in the best shape, but it was still so cool getting something like that unexpectedly. Love seeing things like Comic Scene, brings back great memories. I need to find that World’s Finest 3, I love Tom Grummett’s work, got to meet him recently, really nice man. I realize this is an older video, but if you still have an extra copy of that Return of Superman trade, I’d love to give it a good home, I collect Superman and I have a signed and numbered copy of that, but I’m trying to keep from reading it as I don’t want to mess it up, so it would be great to have a “reader” copy. Would be happy to send you something in return too! Please keep making these videos, they’re great.

I vaguely remember Cosmic Odyssey from passing it up in dollar bins. I dig the Supergirl series! It's really far-out and groovy! It's fun you have a coverless #8. I was waiting for that one. It's my favorite cover of the run. The truth most of the cover art is very stiff and lifeless. Nice Cleese clock!

Hello my good friend. I'm guessing you got the gig? Yes great way to look at it comic book money, great incentive. Yes comic book runs are fun to complete, especially if it's Action & or Detective😂. Cool, Cosmic Odyssey covers. Fantastic, Supergirl run, me too I liked this particular Supergirl costume with the little shield on the upper right, very cool that you still have the very first Supergirl from childhood. Very cool figures & clock. Amazing that 4th of July is just 6 days away.
